William Ames

As founder of Panavisor, Bill brings over 20 years of startup management experience focusing on software development firms in the IT industry. His previous roles included Vice President of Sales at Iconix, Inc., and Founder, President and CEO of Gobosh, a $140M IT solution provider.

Prior to that, Bill was President and CEO of Wyatt River Software, a leading developer in the license management market with development arms in both the U.S. and India. Wyatt River was acquired by Rainbow Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ:RNBO). Additionally, Bill founded Central Designs System, Inc., a hardware integrator which was acquired by SafeNet in the acquisition of its sister company, Wyatt River.

Bill’s prior roles included Vice President of Sales at Highland Digital and Cadence Design Systems, Inc. He has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions and has led or managed over 15 mergers during his career. Bill shares his expertise in motivational and directional presentations throughout the country. He holds a BS in mathematics from the University of Washington and an MBA from Boston University.

Michael Mazarick, Jr.

“Mickey” has more than 10 years experience creating virtualization software and appliances. Most recently, he was Founder and CEO of Digital Tadpole, a local cloud computing provider. Prior to founding Digital Tadpole, Mickey was the lead engineer at Proximity Systems, creating a secure computing environment for hospitals.

Earlier in his career, he worked on security computing for the medical industry, Novartis, the Boy Scouts of America, and the Tennessee Valley Authority (“TVA”) in his position at MediMedia.

Mickey holds a BA degree in computer science from North Carolina State University.



Scott Sachtjen

Scott brings both technical expertise as well as project management experience to Panavisor. Scott has more than 20 years experience designing and developing voice and data communication hardware and software. Most recently he was Vice President of Engineering at Iconix, Inc., an email identification solutions company. Prior to that, Scott was Vice President of Engineering at Strataverio Inc., an engineering consulting firm specializing in creative solutions for email and advanced email services. While at Strataverio, he led groups implementing email archiving; email server recovery; email server clustering; email authentication and extending popular email clients such as MS Outlook.

Scott also was a senior engineer at Picazo Communications, Inc. until its acquisition by Intel. Scott remained with Intel through the acquisition and additional project completion.

Scott received his BA in Physics from the University of California, Santa Cruz.


Robert Zager

Bob brings finance, legal and operations experience to Panavisor, having served as both CFO and legal counsel in his prior positions. He has been lead in-house counsel on over 20 M&A and strategic investment transactions totaling over $600 million. Before co-founding Panavisor, he was CFO of Iconix, Inc.

Bob has held legal, finance and operations roles at Intel (INTC), Picazo Communications, Compaq Computers (CPQ), NetWorth, Inc. (NTWT), and Security Pacific National Bank (SPNB), among others.

Bob is a member of the State Bar of California, holds a BA in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley, a JD from Santa Clara University and has studied European Community Law at the University of Oxford in England
