The Panavisor solution implements our proprietary Quasi-Physical Network™ architecture or QPN™, which is an end-to-end solution that makes controlling computing resources easy, flexible and adaptable. In the QPN environment, data center providers control the “Physical Systems” in which they create virtual private datacenter, end -users operate “Site Systems” and solutions providers manage the virtual private datacenters and networks under the virtual private centers using the “Management Systems.”
QPN sits above the entire network as a comprehensive security, control and management system.
QPN is implemented through two appliances:
In order to deploy a virtual private network, the data center creates the virtual private data center using the HN-250. Configuration data for the paired CloudPort is then loaded into that CloudPort, which is shipped to the end-user’s site. The solution provider merely backs up the local servers, plugs in the CloudPort and then restores the local environment to the remote data center. The end-user can now decommission is local servers in favor of his new virtual private data center.
Security is a concern for everyone. In the QPN architecture, the paired CloudPort is required to access the virtual private data. This provides a level of physical security on par with the most sophisticated VPN enterprise systems — security that is not available in public clouds.
